How to play
Move all tiles in one direction. Matching tiles combine once per move: 2+2 makes 4, and 4+4 makes 8. Each valid move adds a 2 or 4 to an empty space. Merged values add to your score. When no moves remain, undo or start fresh. Keep playing even after reaching 2048.
The board, score and personal best stay on this device. Joining rankings also submits eligible new-game scores to the server. Clear saved device data in Settings to remove them. Undo is available for the last move in the current session.
Community rankings
Join without a login. Your nickname, game results and rank become public. Only new games started after joining are recorded; old local records are not uploaded.
Equal results share a rank. Rankings use the past year; server results expire after one year. This is a casual, device-reported leaderboard, not a tamper-proof competition.
Higher scores win. Submitted at restart, reaching 2048, or game over. Restored or undone boards are not ranked.
